FIV '22
FIV - International Videomapping Festival of Curitiba celebrates the audiovisual productions of artists from all over the world dedicated to creating projection mapping content (videomapping).

In its first edition, the event, which was approved by the State Program for the Promotion and Incentive of Culture, Profice, under the State Secretariat for Social Communication and Culture, Government of the State of Paraná, was sponsored by LACTA.
FIV took place from the 25th to the 27th of August and chose the building of SESC Paço da Liberdade as the platform for the selected projections (you can learn more about the location here), a historic building located in downtown Curitiba. Alongside the Competitive Show, FIV brought workshops and masterclasses with renowned artists in the videomapping field to Curitiba as part of its schedule.
SUBMISSION AND SELECTION OF WORKS
The selection of works to be included in the competitive exhibition was carried out through an OPEN CALL on the Festival's website, promoted through FIV's social media channels. There were over 60 submissions in the Mapping and 1Frame categories. The curatorial team chose 19 videomapping works and 5 in the 1Frame category to form the competitive program.
